Garner Pet Sitters

Amanda H. is a veterinarian specializing in equine internal medicine. She is currently working on starting her own mobile consulting business, but in her spare time, she loves to care for other animals big or small!  She has owned dogs, cats, mice, rats, hamsters, rabbits, fish, bearded dragons, horses, donkeys, and a goat.  In the little remaining time she does have, she also enjoys exercising, horseback riding, cooking, baking, gardening, reading, and being an active member in her church.

Denise R.Denise R. grew up in the country and always had multiple pets that stayed both in the home and outside. She completely understands the pet owner who feels as if their pets are their children, because she feels the same way – and really knows the importance of having someone caring and trustworthy to take care of those children while the owner is away from the home. When Denise isn’t watching your pets, she works at a bank, and also antiques… any time left over lets her enjoy her cooking and gardening interests.

KaylaHKayla H. is currently a Senior at NC State majoring in animal science. Since she was little she has loved working with and looking after animals and pet sitting allows her to do that with flexible hours while juggling school. When she's not working or doing school work she likes to cook, watch movies and spend time with her friends and 2 year old cat Halo.

Marie M.Marie M. has always enjoyed being with animals in some capacity. She works as a veterinary technician and is going to school to become a paralegal. She enjoys sewing, crafts woodworking, calligraphy, miniatures and gardening. She loves exotics in particular birds.

Millie P. is a native of Raleigh and has lived in Garner for over 30 years raising her 2 daughters. She has been a residential real estate appraiser for more than 20 years and is always looking for something fun to do! Her immediate family also includes 7 dogs and a kitty. Her 2 labs are Harley and Hannah. Millie's family over the years has included: guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, mice, birds, bunnies, salt and fresh water fish, and horses. Her favorite things to do are play with her pets, crochet, and spend time with her two grown daughters. She loves all animals, has a lot of experience with all types of pets, and would love to care for yours!

Megan P. has had a love and passion for animals since being a a very small girl from adoring her dog and cat pets at home to being absolutely amazed and in love with marine mammals. She was fortunate as a little girl to visit Sea World on a yearly basis and has been mesmerized with dolphins and orcas all her life. She enjoys providing the love and care for animals that they deserve and being able to appreciate the joy they bring to so many from being domestic pets, assisting citizens in need, and being service animals for our law enforcement agencies and military.
Megan works as a Probation/Parole Officer in Wake County.
She is 100% beach girl and loves being able to have her children enjoy the same beaches she grew up on. She enjoys just being together with her boys at the beach where her family still lives. In her down time, she enjoys reading and just relaxing.
She refers to her Clemson and Bogey as her “Garfield and Odie” because with their relationship, they mimic the real Garfield and Odie to perfection!

Nicole V.Nicole V. is in school as a Veterinary Medical Technology student at CCCC in Sanford, and feels that animals become your best friends, and they should be treated as such! She loves forming bonds with the variety of pets she sits through pampering and play… and then she goes homes and bonds with her own. Nicole also enjoys reading and going to the movies.

Nicole was outstanding, and her notes were thorough and entertaining to read! The boys want to thank her for everything she did for them while we were away, and we do too! It was such a relief to know that they were taken care of so well. Thank you so much!!! Tracie B., Garner
